These cameras connect seamlessly through the Splitter cable (also known as “OBD-II Aux Connector”), which acts as a central hub for power and data transmission.

Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth and secure installation:

Prerequisites:

  1. Ensure the vehicle is turned off and located in an area with good network connectivity.
  2. Locate the vehicle’s diagnostic port, typically found below the steering wheel.

Step 1: Connect and test the Auxiliary Camera:

    2. The Splitter cable supports up to four auxiliary cameras using the following channels: TVI-1, TVI-2, TVI-3, and TVI-4.
    3. Assign each auxiliary camera to a dedicated channel on the Splitter cable, starting with TVI-1 and proceeding sequentially to TVI-2, TVI-3, and TVI-4. This sequence ensures proper channel configuration and optimal system performance.

  1. Set up the Auxiliary Cameras:

    • Side Auxiliary Cameras:
      • Use a 5-meter extension cable for each Side Auxiliary Camera.
      • Connect one end of the extension cable to the Side Auxiliary Camera.

    • Rear Auxiliary Cameras:
      • Use a 10-meter extension cable for each Rear Auxiliary Camera.
      • Connect one end of the extension cable to the Rear Auxiliary Camera.
      • Plug the other end into one of the available TVI channels on the Splitter cable.
