What is camera calibration? Why is it necessary?

Camera calibration refers to the process of calibrating the accelerometer sensors in the AI SafetyCam to ensure accurate detection of risky driving events.

Calibration is crucial for the proper functioning of the device, ensuring that the internal sensors accurately detect risky driving events and capture the following events by the AI SafetyCam.

  • Vibration/Impact
  • Collision Detected - AI Cam
  • g-Force Detected
  • High g-Force Detected
  • Violent Left Turn
  • Violent Right Turn
