How to enable the Customer Connectivity Settings (CCS) in Ford vehicle(s)?

Note: CCS is a specific requirement for Ford vehicles. It must be enabled for each enrolled Ford vehicle to ensure that the vehicle becomes available within the Azuga Fleet application, allowing the telematics data from that vehicle to be reported.

Follow this step-by-step guide to confirm that the Customer Connectivity Settings (CCS) are enabled for each enrolled vehicle:

  1. Ignition on your vehicle.
  2. Press the "Settings" button on the touch screen.
  3. Press "Connectivity Settings", this will bring up the connectivity settings menu.
  4. Look for "Vehicle Connectivity", "Location", and "Vehicle Data & Remote Control" options and make sure all sliders are set to the right (enabled). Make adjustments, if needed.
  5. Turn off the vehicle and then turn the ignition on again. Let the vehicle run for at least 5 minutes.
    1. The vehicle may be driven during this time.
    2. If you are in an area with poor cellular coverage, consider driving to an area where there will be a stronger signal.

After successful enrollment with Data Services, the connectivity settings screen will display "Fleet Telematics". This setting is no longer available to disable until unenrolled from Data Services.

Please Note:

  1. The interface in the vehicle’s head unit may differ between model years. For a more detailed guide please click here.
  2. Vehicles purchased and shipped directly from the Ford factory to commercial fleets will have Connectivity settings enabled by default. The user experience in the touch screen menus may not support making changes to the connectivity settings. In this case, they are on by default and there is nothing more you need to do to initiate tracking.
