What is a Speeding report? How do i generate it?

A Speeding report provides you with information about the speeding violations that have taken place across your fleet. This report contains details of all the vehicles that have exceeded the speeding threshold (set in the speeding alert). By default, the speeding threshold is set at 65 MPH. 

Using this report, you can get details such as the maximum speed attained by your vehicle, location at which speeding

Additionally, this report also provides information on the posted speed of the location where speeding started. However, this will be available only if you enable the SpeedSafe package.

A Speeding report contains the following fields: 

Field Description 
Date
  • Timestamp when the speeding occurred 
Vehicle
  • Name of the vehicle
Vehicle Tags
  • Tags associated with the vehicle
  • This column will be available only if the Tags package is enabled
Driver
  • Name of the driver paired with the vehicle
Alert Setting
  • Speeding threshold
Peak
  • Maximum speed attained by the vehicle
Duration
  • Duration of speeding
Average
  • Average speed of the vehicle 
Address
  • Address of the location at which the speeding occurred 
Group
  • Name of the group to which the vehicle belongs
Region 
  • Parent of group 
  • This column will be available only if the Show Additional Group Information preference is enabled
Division 
  • Parent of region 
  • This column will be available only if the Show Additional Group Information preference is enabled
Asset No.
  • Asset number of the vehicle
Posted Speed
  • Posted speed limit of the location where speeding started

To generate a Speeding Report: 


1. Log in to the Azuga Web application

2. Navigate to the Speeding page, under the Reports tab.

3. Using the date picker, select a time frame. (Date range should be 93 days or less.)

4. Select the groups/vehicles you want to include in the report. 

5. Select the vehicle Tags. This field will be available only if you activate the Tags package.

6. Add a Speed Filter and Speed Duration. (Optional)

7. Click  Generate Report

To export the Report in PDF or XLSX format to your system, click the Export button.

Note: This report can be scheduled to run at regular intervals. This will automatically generate the report and send it to you via email. For more information on scheduling a report, see section https://fleet-azuga.helpscoutdocs.com/article/450-how-to-schedule-a-report
