What is Geofences report? How do i generate a Geofences report?

Geofences: Tracking Geofence Entries and Exits

Our GPS Tracking devices can send out an alert when a vehicle enters or exits a geofence. This report allows you to view which geofences your vehicles have entered and exited, along with the date, time and duration within the geofence.

The Geofences Report includes the following information:

  • Vehicle name
  • Geofence name
  • Entry Date and Time
  • Exit Date and Time
  • Duration within the geofence

To Generate a Geofences Report: 

1. Log in to the Azuga Web application.

2. Navigate to the Geofences page, under the Reports tab.

3. Using the date picker, select a time frame. (Date range should be 93 days or less.)

4. Select the groups/vehicles you want to include in the report.

5. Select the Driver Tag from the Drop down.

6. Select the geofences you want to include in the report. 
7. If you want to filter vehicles based on the duration they were inside a geofence, then enter the duration in the Minimum time spent in the Geofence text box.

8. Select a filter (Geofence Entry & Exit , Geofence Entry Only, Geofence Exit Only or Geofence Exit and Entry) by clicking the radio button corresponding to the filter you wish to use. 

9. Click Generate Report.

To export the Report in PDF or XLSX format to your system, click the Export button.

Note: This report can be scheduled to run at regular intervals. This will automatically generate the report and send it to you via email. For more information on scheduling a report, see section https://fleet-azuga.helpscoutdocs.com/article/450-how-to-schedule-a-report
