New Feature:

The Collision Detection report and alert emails now include deep links that guide users to the corresponding collision reconstruction page on the user interface. This enhancement aims to improve the user experience and save time.

To enhance user experience and streamline the process of accessing collision reconstruction events, we've introduced deep links in the Collision Detection report and alert emails. Clicking on these links will directly navigate users to the corresponding collision reconstruction window on the Breadcrumb page. Closing the reconstruction window will seamlessly return the user to the Home page.

These links can be found in the Collision Detection Alert email, the Collision Reconstruction column of the Exported collision detection report, and the scheduled collision detection report.

Alert Email

Exported Collision detection report

If the user lacks access to the collision reconstruction for that specific vehicle, a relevant message is displayed. Upon closing the message popup, the user will be redirected to the home page.

Note:

  • Deep links through collision detection alerts and scheduled reports will be exclusively sent to administrators, excluding drivers.
  • If the user is not logged into Fleet 2.0 from the browser, they will be automatically redirected to the Login page.

Feature Gaps:

We've enhanced Fleet 2.0's Breadcrumb view and Live maps card view by displaying engine hour duration alongside the Engine Hour Ended event for improved insights and easy access to essential engine hour information

Previously, although the Engine hour event was visible, the associated engine hour duration was not displayed in the Fleet 2.0’s Breadcrumb view and Live Maps card view.

Now, To improve user experience and provide clearer insights, we have introduced a solution to show the engine hour duration alongside the Engine Hour Ended event in the breadcrumb and live maps card view.

The engine hour duration information will now appear in brackets next to the Engine Hour Ended event. This aligns with the consistent display approach used for Idling events.

The engine hour duration display enhancement extends to Breadcrumb view in Live Map, breadcrumb view from Reports, Multi-vehicle Breadcrumb, and WWW report views, ensuring a consistent experience across functionalities.

Introduced HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) option to enhance the viewing experience of our safety cam live streams, ensuring a superior quality and seamless streaming for our users

Previously, Safetycam Live streaming in Fleet 2.0 exclusively utilized WebRTC for multimedia content delivery, while the Classic fleet employed both WebRTC and HLS technology.

With this enhancement, we have integrated HLS technology into Safety Cam Live streaming in Fleet 2.0, guaranteeing a seamless and superior quality experience for our live streams. Users can access this option by clicking on the settings button on the Live streaming window.

The sorting functionality has been added to the Live Maps >> Breadcrumb mode of the vehicle display. This allows users to sort the breadcrumb data by various criteria, enabling them to organize the data they need and extract meaningful insights

Previously, there was no option to sort the vehicle data from the Live Maps >> Breadcrumb mode. This limitation could lead to inefficiencies and hinders users ability to sort and extract meaningful insights from the data.

With this improvement, users will have the ability to sort the breadcrumb data in a way that is most useful to them. They can sort the data based on various criteria such as Date, Drivers, Event, Speed, and more, enabling them to quickly find the information they need and analyze it effectively.

This feature enhances the user experience by providing greater control and making it easier to interact with the data.

Improvements:

To enhance the efficiency of report management for 'Time Card' users, we have introduced 'Schedule Report' feature to our 'Time Card Reports’

We've introduced a 'Schedule Report' feature for the 'Time Card Report'. Scheduling a report will now automate the process, enabling reports to run automatically at specified intervals. The results will be sent to you via email in either PDF or Excel format, providing convenience and timely access to crucial information.

This aligns with the standard scheduling options available in other reports ensuring a cohesive user experience.

Clicking the "Schedule" option initiates a streamlined process following the model of established report workflows. Follow these steps:

  1. Configure Report Details: Choose 'Report Format' and 'Report Columns' required for the report. Modify the report name if necessary (auto-filled by default following '{{Report name}} {{First name of the Logged in user}}' pattern).
  2. Filter Selection: Choose the filter for 'Run Report by' and select drivers from the dropdown to include in the report.
  3. Set Email Delivery Preferences: In the final step, specify report delivery details including 'Send reports to', 'CC to', 'Report Run Frequency', and 'Expiration'. Click the 'Schedule' button to set up and automate the report.

With the introduction of the 'Retrieve Vehicle Odometer' toggle button on the Vehicle update page, users can effortlessly switch between user-input and vehicle-retrieved odometer values for vehicles

Previously, users lacked the flexibility to switch the odometer value on the vehicle level from user input to vehicle-retrieved values. Although users could bulk-change the odometer source to vehicle-retrieved values at the account level by enabling the 'Vehicle Supported Odometer' setting under config page.

Now, with this enhancement, we've introduced a 'Retrieve Vehicle Odometer' toggle button conveniently placed below the 'Odometer' section on the Vehicle Update page. Enabling the toggle retrieves the odometer value from the vehicle, while disabling it allows manual entry.

This toggle button is available for only vehicles capable of retrieving the odometer value directly from the vehicle.

The Vistracks logo within the Switch App buttons has undergone an update, accompanied by the replacement of the associated URL

We've implemented a significant update by refreshing the Vistracks logo within the Switch App buttons. Additionally, we've updated the associated URL linked to the logo on both Fleet 2.0 and Classic Fleet interfaces for the Vistracks Portal. These changes aim to enhance the visual identity and user experience across our platforms.

The tabular view functionality has been added to the Live Maps >> Breadcrumb mode of the vehicle display. This enables users to seamlessly switch between the list and tabular views, improving data analysis efficiency, as well as providing greater flexibility and control over their data presentation

Previously, users could only access vehicle data from the Live Maps >> Breadcrumb mode in a list view, with no option to switch to a tabular format. This limitation could be frustrating for users who prefer a tabular layout for analyzing vehicle data.

With this improvement, users can seamlessly switch between list and tabular views in the breadcrumb mode of the vehicle display. This added flexibility empowers them to select the view that best aligns with their needs and facilitates more efficient data analysis.

The addition of the tabular view option provides users greater control over their interaction with vehicle data, resulting in a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
