New Feature

New thumbnail images have been introduced for each AI event's video and snapshot on the Safetycam page. This grants users an effortless way to understand the context of the event without the need to watch the video itself

Previously, on the Safetycam page, event videos were displayed with a grayed-out image, lacking any information about the specific event action. This required users to manually review the videos to understand the events captured, resulting in an inconvenient and time-consuming experience.

With this improvement, we have introduced thumbnail images for each AI event, applicable to both snapshots and videos. The inclusion of thumbnail images enables users to quickly grasp the context of the event simply by glancing at the thumbnail, eliminating the need to immediately delve into the video. This enhancement improves user efficiency, saves time, and minimizes the necessity to navigate through each event individually.

Each thumbnail image corresponds to a specific event. For driver-facing events, the video displays a driver-facing thumbnail; for road-facing events, the video displays a road-facing thumbnail.

Driver-facing thumbnail images will be shown for the following events:

  • Camera Tampered
  • Eating/Drinking
  • Distracted Driving
  • No Seatbelt
  • Obstruction
  • Possible Fatigue
  • Using Phone
  • Smoking

For all other events, a road-facing thumbnail image will be displayed.

If both the driver-facing and road-facing thumbnail images are unavailable, the default grayed-out image will be shown on the Safetycam page.
