New Features

We've begun capturing images for the "PTO Start" event across all Azuga AI SafetyCam accounts, both existing and new. These images can be accessed under the Event Videos tab on the Safetycam page

We are pleased to announce that we have started capturing images for the “PTO Start" event for all existing and new accounts having Azuga AI SafetyCams and data loggers. Consequently, customers with such accounts will be able to view the “PTO Start” event on the Safetycam page, and access event images conveniently under the Event Videos tab on the same page.

This improvement greatly enhances the value of our customers' operations by providing a more comprehensive view of events, aiding in fleet management and safety efforts.

PTO Start event:

Alerts for "Tailgating" and "Lane Departure" events have been added to the Admin module Alerts page for all Azuga AI SafetyCam accounts, thereby enhancing safety measures and promoting a safer driving environment

In our continuous efforts to prioritize safety, we have added alerts for “Tailgating” and “Lane Departure" events to the Admin module Alerts page for all Azuga AI SafetyCam accounts. These alerts can be found under the "Driving Risks - AI Cam Detected" alert category.

This addition serves as an extra layer of the safety measures, promoting a secure driving environment for all. With these alerts in place, fleet managers can proactively address potential safety concerns.

All customers will now have visibility to the “Last Contact Date” column on the Device page under the Admin module, aiding them in monitoring the device's most recent communication with the Azuga server

To empower our customers with more device monitoring capabilities, we have introduced the “Last Contact Date” by default to the Device page of the Admin module in all accounts.

This valuable addition allows customers to easily track the device’s last communication to the Azuga server, ensuring timely monitoring and data retrieval for more effective fleet management.

Improvements

We have now facilitated capturing leads generated on the Safetycam page to help track and manage leads efficiently and ensure better customer satisfaction

Previously, if the customer did not own either an Azuga SafetyCam or an Azuga AI SafetyCam and the preference "Show SafetyCam Ad" was enabled, we displayed the advertisement of our camera to the customer. However, we did not capture leads on the Safetycam page.

With this improvement, we will be capturing leads generated on the Safetycam page of Fleet 2.0 in a similar manner to that of Classic Fleet.

In addition to capturing leads, the Safetycam ad page has been enhanced in the following ways:

  • The placement of the text box is described below "Reduce Insurance Costs".
  • Ad screens with lead capturing UI can be adjusted to fit different screen resolutions.

Important:

  • Safetycam ad screens are only applicable to customers who do not have either Azuga SafetyCam or Azuga AI SafetyCam. Check the preference type from here: Admin >> Config >> Web >> General >> Show SafetyCam Ad.

Users will now receive prompt status updates on their video requests under the "Requested Videos" tab of the Safetycam page, to monitor their progress and get an accurate picture of where the request stands

Previously, when a user requested a video, the video was displayed in the UI once it was retrieved from the camera. However, if the video retrieval is pending/failed, the "Waiting for Upload" status is displayed, making it difficult to determine the exact status of the video at that moment.

With this improvement, we will be able to provide a prompt status update for the requested videos. Once the video request has been placed, the status of the video can be tracked under the “Requested Videos” section of the Safetycam module. This section is categorized as follows:

  • Request Submitted
  • Request Queued
  • Request Sent to the Camera
  • Videos Retrieved from the Camera
  • Request Failed

When the user clicks on a specific video tile, they will be presented with a status screen. This will make it easier for them to get a better understanding of the current status of the video and monitor its progress thereby.

Important: This applies to videos requested for both Azuga SafetyCam and Azuga AI SafetyCam.

The filter selections on the Safetycam page have been arranged alphabetically, to make it easier for users to locate specific events/vehicles/groups/drivers

Previously, the filters on the Safetycam page were not arranged in a specific order, making it difficult for users to scroll through and locate specific events/vehicles/groups/drivers.

With this improvement, the filters on the Safetycam page have been alphabetically arranged for easier navigation, as follows:

  • The Event Type filter selection
  • The items listed under the Group/Vehicle filter.
  • The Driver filter selection
Important: Since the list of event videos is presented in the order of latest to oldest, the alphabetical sorting is not applicable to them.
