Major Feature Release
New common alerts for AI Cam events have been added to the Alerts section under the Admin module, so that, in the event of any of them occurring, respective alerts will be triggered to ensure safety by recognizing any potential dangers and addressing them appropriately
We have recently added common alerts for AI Cam events to the Alerts section under the Admin module. The alerts provide an extra layer of protection by making the driver aware of potential hazards and allowing them to be avoided. As a result, it is critical that we have alerts set up for all AI camera events, both on Classic Fleet and Fleet 2.0, so that any potential dangers may be recognized and handled as soon as possible
Listed below are the AI alerts that we have provided for users to configure for AI Cam events in order to receive notifications:
- Driver Behavior - AI Cam Detected
- Driving Risks - AI Cam Detected
- AI Cam Disconnected
Following are the list of events for which AI Cam alerts can be set up:
- Driver Behavior - AI Cam Detected:
- Cam Tampered
- Distracted Driving
- Eating/Drinking
- Possible Fatigue
- Smoking
- Obstruction
- Using Phone
- Driving Risks - AI Cam Detected
- Collision Detected - AI Cam
- g-force Detected
- High g-force Detected
- Vibration/Impact
- Violent Left Turn
- Violent Right Turn
- AI Cam Disconnected
Whenever any of the AI Cam events occurs, the corresponding Alert will be triggered, and the driver will be made aware of its occurrence.
Setting up the Alert:
- Navigate to Admin >> Alerts >> Add Alert >> type Driver Behavior - AI Cam Detected/Driving Risks - AI Cam Detected/AI Cam Disconnected.
- When the name of any AI Cam alert is entered, the events associated with that alert will appear.
- Any of the alert conditions can be unselected based on your needs. However, at least one condition must be selected for the alert to be configured, otherwise the validation message stating 'Please select at least one Alert Condition' will appear.
- The additional fields for setting up these AI alerts are similar to those for existing alerts.
Important:
ImprovementsVarious functionality enhancements have been made to the SafetyCam page to make it easier for users to access content and find what they are looking for more easily, thus making the overall user experience more pleasant and streamlined The most significant changes made to the SafetyCam page are the addition of an improved intuitive user interface, improved search capabilities, and faster loading times. These new upgrades make navigating and using the SafetyCam page easier and faster. As a result, users will be able to access content more quickly and find what they are looking for with ease, thus making the overall experience smoother, faster, and more efficient. Below are the upgrades that have been made to the SafetyCam page: |
A separate tab has been created for 'Requested Videos' and they are no longer included in the event type filters of 'All Videos', 'Tagged Videos', and 'Videos Worth Watching'.
- Infinite scrolling across the SafetyCam page to quickly scroll through pages and view multiple videos at once. Additionally, the improved scroll bar allows for quicker loading times, and the reduced data loading helps keep the website running quickly and efficiently.
- On the first load, a maximum of 50 videos will be loaded in each tab of the SafetyCam page.
- When the user scrolls through the list of videos (e.g. scrolled through 70% of the videos), an infinite scroll is executed and the next set of videos (max 50) should be displayed.
- A loading experience similar to Breadcrumb will be displayed if there is a delay in loading the next set of videos.
The Time Period selection limit has been increased. The default time period selected across tabs is 7 days, and the maximum time period that can be selected is 31 days.
Uniformity in the length of all the 3 sections (Filters, Videos, Categorize Videos By) on the SafetyCam page to make it appear more organized and visually appealing, as all the content is evenly distributed on the page and it creates a sense of consistency.
Auto-population of vehicles' names for Live Stream & Request Videos under the Safetycam module has been implemented, allowing users to select vehicles from the pre-populated list, thereby saving them the effort of having to remember and type the vehicles’ name manually
Previously, when requesting a video or live streaming a video, other than those found in 'Recent Searches,' the user must remember and enter the exact name of the vehicle in order for the vehicles to be populated. This can be very inconvenient and time-consuming. Furthermore, there was a delay in populating the vehicle as well.
With this improvement, we have simplified the effort required by users to search for vehicles while requesting a video or while live streaming a video in this way:
- The entire list of vehicles is displayed upfront, which makes it easier for users to find the vehicle they are seeking with minimal effort. Even if the user enters the vehicle name in the ‘Enter Vehicle Name’ text box, the list of vehicles will appear instantly without any delay or lag.
For Request Video: The list should include vehicles that the user has access to and that have any type of cameras installed currently or within the last one month.
For Live Stream: The list should include vehicles that the user has access to and that have AI cameras installed currently.
- The vehicle list has been made scrollable, and a scroll bar has been added to the list to indicate that it can be scrolled and that the desired vehicle can be selected from it.
- The pop-up window has been dynamically adapted to fit the dropdown list that displays the maximum number of vehicles in order to reduce scrolling time.
- Improved performance in the ‘Recent Searches’ field to auto-list vehicles' names eligible for Request Videos/Live Streaming.
