Improvements:
Following improvements have been made on Fleet 2.0:
- The ‘Search Parameter’ drop-down now has the option 'All' in the Vehicles and Devices page under the Admin module, which allows you to view records of all parameters. Added loader message to display data loading progress.
- We are now displaying the Stop condition on the Geofences table to identify the trigger condition from the table itself and have renamed the Stop condition from ‘Vehicle makes a stop’ to ‘At Stop’ in the Geofences Table under the Admin module.
- We have enhanced the UI by increasing custom column drop-down window height across the web. In order to accommodate full lists within the window whenever feasible and to signify long lists we have added scroll bars by default and eliminated scroll bars that weren't required.
- The Odometer enhancements have been implemented across the web keeping in mind the customers' concerns regarding various aspects of the Odometer, and solutions have been provided in response.
- ‘DriveSafe’ has been rebranded as ‘PhoneMonitor’ across the web in order to make it more accessible and appealing to the users, reflecting the functionality the feature offers.
- Enhancements to the SafetyCam functionality, added new Safetycam AI events to existing events and the ability to remotely wake up SafetyCam AI for Live streaming. Additionally, SafetyCam Reports have been improved to provide a more comprehensive view of events that occurred and a new "Comments'' column has been added.
- The Breadcrumb scroll on Live Maps has been enhanced in order to provide a smoother and more intuitive interface for the user.
- With the updated functionality, users will now have the ability to drag and drop the slider between the Vehicle card, Breadcrumb and map under the Live Maps module towards the extreme left or right as desired.
- The request video flow diagram window has been modified to display streamlined content after the video request has been fulfilled to improve user comprehension.
- The TrackMe feature's link has been improved to display more relevant and important information users need and less redundant information.
Fixes:
Following are list of bugs that have been fixed in Fleet 2.0:
- We have fixed issues with adding new vehicles in the Vehicle page under the Admin module. Previously, new vehicles could not be added due to a 'transaction rolled back' error. This is now resolved and new vehicles can be added by customers successfully.
- Issue with scheduled Login/Logout report failing to generate scheduled report mails has been resolved. Additionally, in the Schedule Report module, the report name displayed now is ‘Login/Logout report’ as opposed to ‘User Login/Logout report’ earlier.
- Options on asset tracker cards on Live Maps earlier had an 'Update pairing' option. Since asset trackers can not be paired with drivers, this option has now been removed.
- Previously, the landing page in Reminder and Service Entry sections of the Maintenance module had data grouped by default. To allow users to see the data as soon as they land on either the Manage Reminder, Manage History and Manage Service entry pages, the default will be ungrouped data. The ability for users to toggle ON data grouping will be retained.
- Previously, when the Speeding Report was downloaded, the posted speed value in that report was in KPH, even though the posted speed value in the UI was in MPH and the speed unit was also set to MPH. With this bug fix, the posted speed value in the UI and the downloaded report is displayed in MPH.
- Previously, the horizontal scroll would overlap the datatable in the Device table under the Admin module. This bug has now been resolved, and the horizontal scroll no longer overlaps the datatable.
- Previously, Track-Me Links on the Live Maps screen accepted invalid email addresses when creating links. With the bug fix, the user should now receive the warning message, 'Please Enter a valid email id' when entering special characters in the email address.
- Previously, when selecting the custom column options under the tabular view of Live Maps, the filter option 'Sort by' showed incorrect filter names such as 'admin.vehicles.vehicleName' and 'shared.dateFilter.date'. As a result of this fix, the incorrect filter name will no longer be displayed under the filter options.
- When enabling the HOS Driver checkbox on the Drivers page of the Admin module, some fields were missing in Fleet 2.0 as compared to Classic Fleet. As a result of this bug fix, all fields are now available in Fleet 2.0 after enabling the HOS checkbox, just as in Classic Fleet.
Feature Gap:
Fleet 2.0 now supports Spanish, French and Arabic, similar to Classic Fleet. Additionally, Classic Fleet translations have been replicated on Fleet 2.0
Previously, if the language preference was changed from English to any of the listed languages, such as French, Spanish or Arabic, most sections of the Classic Fleet web were translated. However, the same change is not reflected on Fleet 2.0 despite changing the language preference.
The updated enhancement will ensure that whatever gets translated in Classic Fleet will also be translated in Fleet 2.0, which means the translated value in 2.0 will be the same as in Classic Fleet. For modules or sentences/text that are new to Fleet 2.0, it is fine if they do not have translation values at this time.
As we progress through the phases, we will be able to translate the remaining modules both in Classic and 2.0.
We have added missing options Driver, Event Type, Address and Speed to the Custom column dropdown window in the Tabular view of Vehicles in Live Maps which is present in Classic Fleet
Previously, in Live Map’s Vehicle Tabular view the custom column had a limited number of options to select from, whereas in Classic fleet additional options were available. To fix this feature gap we have added missing options Driver, Event Type, Address and Speed to the custom column.
The ‘Search Parameter’ drop-down now has the option 'All' in the User page under the Admin module, which allows users to view records of all parameters. Added loader message to display data loading progress
We have added the 'All' option to the 'Search Parameter' in the User table under the Admin module in response to the customer's request.
Previously, users could search keywords in the search bar based on individual Search parameters available and fetch the results. Now, to improve the flexibility of searching we have added ‘All’ as an option in the search parameter which allows users to search keywords and fetch results for all parameters available in the table.
Additionally, whenever a user performs actions like Search and Sort in User table, we have introduced loader message to display data loading summary. This now informs the user if data loading is completed or still loading data and available data is ready to use followed up by completion message once data is completely loaded.
The User page under the Admin module now supports sorting across all columns in the table. Users will benefit from the ease of use that the Sortability feature provides
The Sortability feature has been expanded to include all columns in the table within the User Page of the Admin module.
Prior to this improvement, the tables had this feature but it was limited to the selected columns and not for all columns, making it difficult for the user to locate the information they were seeking, which wasn't very user-friendly.
With the Sortability feature added to all columns in the table, users can sort the data under the columns by their needs with just a single click.

We now visually highlight list Items on the Web when hovering over them to enhance user experience
Previously, when the cursor is hovered over any list item in the web the list item failed to be highlighted unlike the behaviour in classic fleet. Now, we have addressed this feature gap to highlight the list item when the cursor is hovered over them.
Below are few examples with snapshots:
We have optimized the Vehicle map marker on Live Maps in the Legacy mode to display a more optimized vehicle icon, text color, background color, and border color
Previously, when Map marker type was set to Legacy in Live maps configuration the vehicle icon on Live maps and text and background color did not match map icon preference set in vehicle edit page and tooltip border color did not reflect vehicle events unlike in classic fleet.
This is now addressed to have optimized vehicle icon, text color and background color set as per preference and color of tool tip border to match corresponding vehicle event.
To set map marker to Legacy : Go to Admin >> Config >> Web >> Live Map >> Map marker type >> Legacy
To set vehicle icon, text and background color : Admin >> Vehicle >> Edit >> Map Icon

Improvements:
The ‘Search Parameter’ drop-down now has the option 'All' in the Vehicles and Devices page under the Admin module, which allows you to view records of all parameters. Added loader message to display data loading progress
We have added the 'All' option to the 'Search Parameter' in the Vehicles and Devices table under the Admin module in response to the customer's request.
Previously, users could search keywords in the search bar based on individual Search parameters available and fetch the results. Now, to improve the flexibility of searching we have added ‘All’ as an option in the search parameter which allows users to search keywords and fetch results for all parameters available in the table.
Additionally, whenever a user performs actions like Search and Sort in Vehicles and Devices table, we have introduced loader messages to display data loading summary. This now informs the user if data loading is completed or still loading data and available data is ready to use followed up by completion message once data is completely loaded.
We are now displaying the Stop condition on the Geofences table to identify the trigger condition from the table itself and have renamed the Stop condition from ‘Vehicle makes a stop’ to ‘At Stop’ in the Geofences Table under the Admin module
In the Admin module's Geofences table, we have modified a few labels. The "Alert Condition" column has been renamed to "Trigger condition," and the Stop condition "Vehicle makes a stop" has been changed to "At Stop." Stop condition name change is limited to the Trigger condition column and exported files.
Along with the name change, we enhanced the 'Trigger condition' column to show more details. Prior to this enhancement, the trigger condition column only included the Geofence trigger conditions "On Entry" and "On Exit." Now, in addition to the Geofence trigger conditions, the Stop trigger condition "At Stop" is also displayed. Trigger conditions are set by users in the add/edit geofence window. Additionally, exported files show this change.
We have enhanced the UI by increasing custom column drop-down window height across the web. In order to accommodate full lists within the window whenever feasible and to signify long lists we have added scroll bars by default and eliminated scroll bars that weren't required
We have increased the Custom column drop-down window height across the web to improve user experience. This improvement eliminates the user's misconception that there are only a limited number of items in the window and that the list cannot be scrolled.
Previously, Custom column drop-down windows had limited height and displayed a limited number of items in the available window and scroll bar was not default for long lists, this led to assumptions that limited items are available in the window. Now, this is enhanced by increasing the height of the window to incorporate all the items and for a long list window scroll bar is displayed by default.
Below are two examples of both scenarios:
The Odometer enhancements have been implemented across the web keeping in mind the customers' concerns regarding various aspects of the Odometer, and solutions have been provided in response
We have enhanced the Odometer across the web taking into account customers' concerns regarding various aspects of the Odometer. Each of the concerns raised by customers has been addressed by our solutions, which contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience.
The solutions implemented in response to the concerns are outlined below:
- Simplified the Odometer concept by removing unnecessary parameters. Removed the 'Initial Odometer’ parameter to avoid any confusion and renamed the ‘Current Odometer’ parameter to ‘Odometer’.
- Providing the ability to enter odometer values based on backdated values, resulting in a retroactive calculation of the reading in order to display a dynamically updated reading.
- Added a signifier next to the Odometer field signifying the Vehicle's capability of sharing the data.
- Added a Source of Odometer column in the Vehicles table to give transparency to the user on the source of the odometer reading.
- Maintaining consistency across the Maintenance and Vehicles pages, which previously had different odometer values.
- An auto-fetching of the vehicle odometer value is performed on the Service Entry page in accordance with the vehicle name and the service entry date and time entered by the user.

Enhancements to the SafetyCam functionality, added new Safetycam AI events to existing events and the ability to remotely wake up SafetyCam AI for Live streaming. Additionally, SafetyCam Reports have been improved to provide a more comprehensive view of events that occurred and a new "Comments'' column has been added
We have enhanced the camera functionality to provide customers with many additional features, such as:
- Added new SafetyCam AI add-on events to the existing events to capture incidents when drivers engage in unsafe driving practices during trips. These incidents are displayed in the Breadcrumb, Safetycam tab, and Safetycam Report based on the event type that was recorded.
- Improved SafetyCam Report that provides a detailed view of Event Types that have occurred, as well as the addition of a 'Comments' column for the event videos.
- Ability to remotely wake up the SafetyCam AI camera in order to live stream events even when the vehicle's ignition is off.

The Breadcrumb scroll on Live Maps has been enhanced in order to provide a smoother and more intuitive interface for the user
Previously, the breadcrumb view of the vehicle on Live Maps was not smooth while scrolling, resulting in the user losing context. There was a slight refresh-like interaction that occurred whenever the user stopped scrolling in the breadcrumb view after scrolling for some time.
With this improvement, the breadcrumb scroll has been enhanced to provide a smoother user experience.
With the updated functionality, users will now have the ability to drag and drop the slider between the Vehicle card, Breadcrumb and map under the Live Maps module towards the extreme left or right as desired
Previously, the slider between the Vehicle card and map on Live Maps could be dragged and dropped to a limited extent. With the updated functionality, users will have the ability to drag and drop the slider towards the extreme left or right of the map as desired.
This drag and drop functionality has also been implemented in the Breadcrumb on Live Maps, allowing users to adjust the slider on the left and right extremities of the map to suit their needs.
The request video flow diagram window has been modified to display streamlined content after the video request has been fulfilled to improve user comprehension
Previously when users successfully placed video request the request video flow diagram displayed to the customers was complicated that created confusion to the users. To improve user comprehension of the flow diagram we have modified it to display streamlined content.
The TrackMe feature's link has been improved to display more relevant and important information users need and less redundant information
This improvement is only for the Trackme link generated, no change in link creation process.
Previously the TrackMe link displayed redundant information and points on the map making it complicated to comprehend. Now, this is improved by removing redundant information and points on the map and updating the UI to match the Fleet 2.0 theme.
