Improvement:
Following improvements have been made on Fleet 2.0:
- To improve vehicle-level alerts and decrease non-monitoring alerts from the account, alerts associated with vehicles are now deleted when a vehicle is deactivated from the account. Additionally, an updated warning message is now displayed while deactivating a vehicle.
Fixes:
Following are list of bugs that have been fixed in Fleet 2.0 :
- When adding a new user or driver under the Admin module, validation was set for the first name and last name field, allowing special characters to be included. This has now been resolved by prohibiting the use of special characters in first name and last names while adding new users or drivers.
- Clicking the event cards on the left side of the Breadcrumb page previously failed to highlight the breadcrumb points on the map. This bug has now been fixed by highlighting the breadcrumb points on the map whenever one clicks on the event cards.
- When adding a New card in the Manage page under the Rewards module, an error message appears while saving the card with all details. This has now been resolved to Save new card details Successfully.
- Fixed an issue where the exported Back Up Detection reports displayed different time versus the event time on web by calibrating time zones with respect to event time on web and exported back-up detection events.
- Previously when entering special characters except for (! # - , .) in the Geofences search, the page would become unresponsive. This bug has been resolved by allowing these special characters to be searchable in Geofence searches, since they are allowed in naming geofences. In addition, if the user enters any characters in the search field that are not permitted, a toast message will appear stating 'The following special characters (! # - , .). Please clear the keyword and search again'.
Feature Gap:
An enhancement has been made to the speeding reports by adding additional search parameters which improves search experience
Previously, in Fleet 2.0 Speeding report under Report module the search parameters were limited to only three parameters i.e, Driver, Start address and End address. which may have served the customer's needs to some extent. Now, the search parameters have been increased enabling users to have enhanced search experience.
Below are the new search parameters added:
- Start time
- End time
- Tags
- Alert Setting (MPH)
- Peak (MPH)
- Average (MPH)
- Duration
- Distance Travelled (MILES)
- Group Name
- Region
- Division
- Asset No
‘Reset Last Service Date’ checkbox is enabled by default in the Add Service window under the Maintenance module
Previously, ‘Reset Last Service Date’ checkbox was disabled by default in the Add Service window under the Maintenance module. Now, this is enabled by default to match Classic fleet settings for adding services.
Reports such as Summary, Trips, Geofences, Fuel, and State Mileage have been enhanced with a newly added feature that allows users to see additional information when hovering over the parameters in the column
Several reports such as the Summary report, Trips, Geofences, Fuel, and the State Mileage have been enhanced with the new focus feature. This allows you to view additional information when hovering over the parameters in the column within the report.
The question mark next to the parameter indicates that there is additional information about the parameter available to you when you hover the cursor over the question mark.
Important: This feature is not applicable to specific reports such as Speeding, Stop, Idling, Alert, Cornering, and Posted Speed Limit.
Based on the click function, sync between the LHS and the RHS on the Live Maps screen has been established i.e., the Vehicle card on the left side and Vehicle indicator on Live Maps on the right side of the screen are synchronized
Syncing between the LHS and the RHS on the Live Maps screen has been established in accordance with the click function. In other words, the Vehicle card on the left side of the screen and the Vehicle indicator on Live Maps on the right side of the screen are now synchronized.
In the event that you have clicked on any vehicle on the card, the map will be adjusted in such a way as to highlight the vehicles, and in the reverse direction the same behavior is followed.

Improvement:
To improve vehicle-level alerts and decrease non-monitoring alerts from the account, alerts associated with vehicles are now deleted when a vehicle is deactivated from the account. Additionally, an updated warning message is now displayed while deactivating a vehicle
Previously, when vehicles are deactivated from the account the vehicle-level alert associated with the vehicle was retained and this alert did not monitor any vehicles. To reduce these non-monitoring alerts, now when a vehicle is deactivated the alert associated with the vehicle is also deleted when there are no vehicles to monitor. Below is the updated warning message with the note.
Updated message : Once you deactivate the vehicle, it will not appear in the maps or reports any more, any alerts defined for this vehicle will also be blocked.
Note: The alert will also be deleted if it doesn't have any other vehicle to monitor.
