In some instances, my driving path at start is slightly offset from actual path. Why is it so?
In some instances driving path shown at the start of a trip, might display a slightly offset position/driving path vs the actual path.
This is due to the fact when your vehicle is parked for a long period (over 24 hours), Azuga Fleet GPS is set in standby mode to save vehicle battery level.
When your vehicle starts again after such a long period (over 24 hours), it can take up to 10-15 minutes for Azuga Fleet to gain full resolution from the GPS satellite network which would cause a slight offset of position/driving path at the beginning of such trip.
IMPORTANT: This GPS position offset case does not affect in any way the trip distance which remains correct as well as all other trip data points provided by the Azuga platform.
