What is a Seat Belt alert? How do I create this alert?

A Seat Belt alert informs you when the percentage of time a seat belt usage for a trip falls below the set threshold.

To create a seat belt alert:

1. Log in to the Azuga Fleet Web application.

2. Navigate to the Alerts page, under the ADMIN tab.

3. Click the Add Alert button.

4. Fill out the form with appropriate details.

a. Select the Alert Type as Seat Belt.

b. Enter the Alert Name.

c. Enter the minimum percentage of time a driver is required to wear a seatbelt during a trip, in the Seatbelt Usage text box. 

d. Select how frequently you wish to monitor your drivers - 24*7 or Custom hours.

e. Select the groups/vehicles to which the alert is to be applied. (choose only vehicles that support the seat belt functionality). 

f. Toggle the Alert Notification switch to ON. (To mute this alert, toggle this switch to the OFF state.)

g. Select users/drivers to whom the alert email is to be sent.

h. Enter CC addresses, if any.  

i. Under Send email alert to,

  • Select Group Admin if you want to send the alert email to the administrator(s) of the selected group(s).
  • Select Paired Driver if you want to send the alert email to the driver who is currently paired with the vehicle.
  • Select Group Admin with Role if you want to send the alert email to the administrator(s) of specific role.

5. Click Add Alert.

Note: All alerts in the Azuga system are configured to trigger when the vehicle exceeds the threshold set in the alert configuration. However, the seat belt alert is the ONLY alert which triggers when the alert value falls below the set threshold.
