New Features

The revamped SafetyIQ Fleet Dashboard gives insurance partners deeper visibility into individual fleet performance with improved navigation and vehicle-level insights. With AI-powered summaries, standardized risk metrics like Miles at Risk, and enhanced operational and geographic insights, users can quickly identify risks, track trends, and make informed decisions.

The SafetyIQ Fleet Dashboard has been redesigned to provide INSCO customers with deeper visibility into individual fleet performance, improved navigation, and more granular insights at the vehicle level.

The revamped dashboard introduces:

  • AI-generated executive insights for quick performance summaries
  • structured layout aligned with the Program Dashboard for consistent navigation
  • Enhanced fleet-level performance visibility, including high-risk and top-performing vehicles
  • A new Miles at Risk metric for standardized speeding analysis
  • Additional insights such as Miles by State, ZIP Code activity, and Active Vehicles

Availability:

  • Available only for Insurance (INSCO) customers
  • Not available for Resellers or Direct customers

The dashboard is organized into key sections, enabling users to quickly navigate and analyze fleet data.

Section Overview:

1. Overview:

Provides a high-level summary of fleet performance, including key metrics, policy details, and vehicle distribution across safety score buckets. This section helps users quickly understand overall fleet health and risk distribution.

2. Performance:

Delivers insights into vehicle-level safety performance and operational activity, including high-risk and top-performing vehicles, along with geographic and activity-based analysis such as Miles by State and ZIP Code activity.

3. Compliance:

Offers visibility into device deployment and connectivity status across the fleet, helping users monitor device health, identify non-communicating devices, and detect installation gaps.

3. Risk Distribution:

Provides a consolidated view of fleet risk exposure and driving behavior patterns. This includes standardized speeding insights through Miles at Risk, geographic event distribution, benchmarking against similar fleets, and activity-based trends.

Introducing Miles at Risk, a new feature that standardizes speeding analysis by comparing actual vehicle speeds against posted speed limits, eliminating reliance on device-configured thresholds. It measures distance traveled above and below speed limits, giving insurers a normalized view of speeding risk across fleets on multiple TSPs and helping them identify risky behavior and track trends. It is available for INSCO customers on both the Fleet and Program Dashboards.

The Miles at Risk metric standardizes speeding analysis by comparing vehicle speed against posted speed limits (PSL), eliminating reliance on configurable device thresholds. This enables a consistent and unbiased assessment of driving risk across fleets.

It measures:

  • Miles driven above posted speed limits (risky driving)
  • Miles driven below posted speed limits (safe driving)

Availability:

  • Fleet level
  • Program level (aggregated across all fleets)
  • Available only for INSCO customers
  • Not available for Resellers or Direct customers

How It Works:

  • Each GPS data point is evaluated
  • Vehicle speed is compared against PSL
  • Miles are categorized as above or below speed limits

Key Capabilities:

  • Month-on-month trend analysis of total vs. risky miles
  • Visual comparison of safe and risky driving behavior
  • Aggregated program-level insights across multiple fleets

Key Benefits:

  • Removes dependency on manually configured speeding thresholds
  • Ensures consistent speeding evaluation across fleets
  • Improves reliability of driving risk assessment
  • Provides carriers with meaningful context to assess speeding-based risk.

Improvement

Business Reports have been enhanced to improve clarity, readability, and overall usability. With more accurate metrics, improved layouts, and clearer visualizations, customers can easily understand insights and evaluate fleet performance. Added guidance and device-level visibility help users better interpret data.

The Business Reports experience has been enhanced to improve data clarity, readability, and overall usability, enabling customers to better interpret insights and evaluate fleet performance.

What's Improved:

  • Precise Metric Display in Account Focus Section:

Metrics in the Account Focus section, including total events, are now shown with exact values instead of rounded figures, enabling more accurate evaluation of performance and ROI. Additionally, time-based metrics have been updated to include units (for example, minutes), improving clarity, and making the data easier to interpret.

  • Improved Fleet Distribution Layout:

The Fleet Distribution Layout has been restructured for better clarity and cohesion. Safety Score trends are now presented within this section, while idling insights have been moved to a more contextually relevant section. This update improves understanding and removes confusion about what each chart represents.

  • Enhanced Chart Readability:

Some charts, particularly scoring trends, had overlapped data labels that made them difficult to read. Spacing and formatting have been improved to ensure better clarity and easier interpretation of key metrics.

  • In-Report Definitions for Trip Classification and Utilization:

Additional context has been added to the Trip Classification and Utilization sections to improve clarity. Informational tooltips or guidance elements help users quickly understand these metrics without requiring follow-up.

  • Tracking vs. Non-Tracking Devices Visibility:

A new metric view highlights the number of connected devices versus non-tracking devices, providing customers with clearer visibility into device connectivity and data coverage. This helps bring attention to potential tracking gaps without relying on separate reports.
