Improvements

  • The Equipment Bulk Upload process has been improved to provide clearer and more efficient error feedback during file validation, reducing repetitive uploads and saving time for administrators. 
  • We’ve enhanced the DVIR Summary Report to better support large fleets that rely on quick, tabular insights for daily operations and reporting. 

Improvements Deep Dive

 Equipment Bulk Upload Enhanced Validation & Error Visibility 

Previously, when an equipment bulk upload file contained multiple validation issues, the system returned only one error per upload attempt. Users had to correct each error individually and re-upload the file multiple times to uncover subsequent issues, making the process time-consuming and frustrating. 

With this enhancement, the system now validates the entire file in a single upload and displays all identified errors at once. This allows administrators to review, fix, and re-upload corrected files more efficiently, improving accuracy and confidence when managing equipment data in bulk. 

DVIR Summary Report – Summary Export & Inspection Duration 

Customers with large vehicle volumes have shared positive feedback on the summary data displayed on the DVIR Report menu screen. To build on this feedback and improve usability, we’ve introduced a new Summary Export option along with an additional Inspection Duration field. 

 

What’s New 

  1. DVIR Summary Export 
  • A new Summary Export option allows users to export the same tabular summary data shown on the DVIR Report menu screen. 
  • The export provides a consolidated, spreadsheet-friendly view ideal for analysis, sharing, and recordkeeping. 
  • Designed to support large fleets with high inspection volumes. 

 

  1. Inspection Duration Field 
  • A new Duration column has been added to the summary data. 
  • Duration is automatically calculated as the time between: 
  • Start Inspection 
  • End Inspection 
  • Provides clear insight into how long inspections take across drivers and vehicles.
