Azuga - SafetyIQ 14.1.0 Updates

New Feature:

  • SafetyIQ now includes a Fleet Adoption Score for Resellers, providing a clear view of how well each fleet’s devices are installed and communicating. Available on the Fleet Dashboard, the score is updated daily and reflects the overall health across all device types, helping resellers easily monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Improvement:

  • A new Charge Level column on the Device Page lets users track each asset tracker’s battery percentage directly in SafetyIQ. Updated every 24 hours, it provides Resellers and Insco partners quick visibility for efficient device monitoring and management.

New Feature

SafetyIQ now includes a Fleet Adoption Score for Resellers, providing a clear view of how well each fleet’s devices are installed and communicating. Available on the Fleet Dashboard, the score is updated daily and reflects the overall health across all device types, helping resellers easily monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

We have introduced a new Fleet Adoption Score in SafetyIQ, designed exclusively for Reseller accounts. This enhancement provides resellers with clear visibility into the operational health of their fleets based on device installation and communication status.

The Fleet Health Score evaluates the overall device health of each fleet by analyzing all device types assigned to that fleet, including OBD, OEM devices, Asset Trackers, and SafetyCams

A score is generated daily and displayed directly within the platform.

Platform Visibility:

  • Navigation: Dashboard > Fleet
  • Each fleet now displays:
    • The numeric Health Score (e.g., 60, 70, 85)
    • A corresponding star indicator
      • 2 stars → Poor
      • 4 stars → Average
      • 5 stars → Healthy

This provides fleet-level clarity on installation and communication performance.

Health Score Categories:

Each fleet is classified into one of three health categories based on the calculated score:

Score Range Classification
<71  Poor
71-90  Average
>90  Healthy

How the Health Score Works:

  • Daily Calculation:

    • A new health score is generated every 24 hours for each fleet.
    • The score reflects the performance of all devices currently assigned to that fleet.
  • Device Coverage:

If a fleet contains:

    • Only OBD devices → only OBD performance is evaluated
    • A mix of OBD, OEM, Asset Trackers, and Cameras → all are included

The score is based on:

    • Installation Ratio (Installed ÷ Total Devices)
    • Communication Ratio (Communicating ÷ Total Devices)

Weighted calculations combine these ratios across device types to determine the overall fleet score.

Program Dashboard – Level Visibility:

For resellers managing multiple fleets, the Program Dashboard provides a consolidated, color-coded view of overall Fleet Health across the reseller’s entire portfolio.

The dashboard displays a Health Score distribution pie chart, showing:

  • % Healthy (Green)
  • % Average (Yellow)
  • % Poor (Red)

This helps quickly identify operational gaps across the reseller’s entire portfolio.

For example, as shown in the dashboard:

  • 365 total fleets
  • 120 fleets are Healthy, representing 36.1% of the portfolio

This distribution helps resellers quickly understand how many fleets are performing well versus how many require intervention, based on device installation and communication performance.

Exports Functionality:

  • Health Score is included in both Fleet Dashboard Export and Program Dashboard Export
  • In Fleet Dashboard exports, both Health Score and Azuga Safety Score appear together, allowing comparison of device health vs. driver safety.

Improvement

A new Charge Level column on the Device Page lets users track each asset tracker’s battery percentage directly in SafetyIQ. Updated every 24 hours, it provides Resellers and Insco partners quick visibility for efficient device monitoring and management.

A new Charge Level column has been added for Asset Trackers on the Device Page in SafetyIQ

Users can now view the battery or charge level of each asset tracker directly from the Device Page. The charge level is displayed as a numerical percentage in the Detailed Device Information table and is updated every 24 hours (not in real time), as SafetyIQ refreshes asset data daily.

Navigation:

  • Resellers: Go to Dashboard > Devices
  • Insco: Go to Performance & Utilization > Devices

Then, in both cases:

  1. Set Devices to Asset Tracker
  2. Select a fleet from the Fleet drop-down

This enhancement gives Resellers and Insco partners quick visibility into asset tracker charge levels, enabling easier monitoring and more efficient device management.
