October Updates

Improvements:

  • Equipment and dropped locations are now grouped by full street address instead of coordinates. This update removes duplicate entries, provides a cleaner view, and makes it easier to manage equipment at the same location.
  • Setting up equipment is now easier than ever. You can start directly from the beacon scanner, and if the beacon isn’t linked yet, the app lets you instantly connect it to existing equipment or create a new one on the spot, making field setup faster and smoother.
  • The Azuga Fleet Mobile app now supports login for users accessing it through the Elite App, allowing them to sign in and use the AFM app without any compatibility issues. This enhancement also improves integration between the two apps and ensures a consistent, reliable login experience for Elite users.

Improvements

Equipment and dropped locations are now grouped by full street address instead of coordinates. This update removes duplicate entries, provides a cleaner view, and makes it easier to manage equipment at the same location.

Previously, when searching for equipment with trackers in the app, the same tracker or dropped location could appear multiple times in the search results. This occurred because items were grouped only by latitude and longitude, so even if multiple trackers were located within a few meters and shared the same street address, they were still displayed separately.

With this improvement, the search and map behavior now group equipment and dropped locations by their complete street address instead of just coordinates. If multiple trackers share the same address, they are combined and displayed under a single pin or entry.

The update eliminates duplicate listings across all equipment views, provides a cleaner and more accurate display, and makes it easier for users to identify and manage equipment located at the same address.

Note: This improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.

Setting up equipment is now easier than ever. You can start directly from the beacon scanner, and if the beacon isn’t linked yet, the app lets you instantly connect it to existing equipment or create a new one on the spot, making field setup faster and smoother.

Previously, equipment beacons could only be set up through the Equipment screen in the Azuga Fleet Mobile (AFM) app. Users had to select or create equipment first, then scan the beacon, and finally complete the association, which made the process slower for installers working in the field.

With this improvement, the AFM app now offers an alternate setup flow that starts directly from the beacon scanner. When an unassociated beacon is scanned, the app gives users the choice to associate it with existing equipment or create a new equipment record right from the scanner.

This update makes equipment setup faster and more convenient, allowing users to create and associate equipment on the go without navigating through multiple screens.

Note: This improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.

The Azuga Fleet Mobile app now supports login for users accessing it through the Elite App, allowing them to sign in and use the AFM app without any compatibility issues. This enhancement also improves integration between the two apps and ensures a consistent, reliable login experience for Elite users.

The Azuga Fleet Mobile (AFM) app has been updated to support login functionality for users accessing it through the Elite App

This change ensures that Elite App users can now log in and use AFM seamlessly without any compatibility issues. The improvement was tested and verified by the Elite team and is now fully functional.

This enhancement enables smoother integration between the two apps, providing a consistent and reliable login experience for Elite users accessing AFM.

Note: This improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.

Bug Fixes:

  • We have fixed an issue where the Azuga Roadside Assistance screen did not support landscape orientation. Previously, landscape mode was available across all major AFM screens, except for the Roadside Assistance section, causing an inconsistent user experience. With this fix, landscape mode is now supported throughout the app, including the Azuga Roadside Assistance screen, ensuring a consistent and seamless experience.
  • We have fixed an issue where the BC report on the AFM app was not showing the same tracking data as the Azuga web dashboard. Previously, some trip details stopped appearing after a certain time, causing a mismatch between the two views. The report now updates correctly every time it is opened, ensuring that all tracking information matches what is shown on the Azuga dashboard.
  • We have fixed the issue where the group selection option was not visible under the Admin tab in the Vehicle feature. Earlier, when users tried to change the vehicle’s group, the app displayed “No group available” even though groups existed in the system. This issue has now been resolved, and users can correctly view and select available groups when creating or editing a vehicle.
  • We have fixed an issue where the SafetyCam feature was unable to connect due to a recent server certificate update. The connection process has now been restored, and SafetyCam services are working smoothly without any interruptions.
