Improvements
We’ve improved violation accuracy by fixing tooltip logic. Details now stay tied to the original cycle, preventing incorrect updates after cycle changes.
Previously, the tooltip for old violations was fetched based on the current cycle selected. This caused issues when, for example, a violation generated under Canada North would incorrectly update if the cycle was later changed to Canada South.
The logic has now been updated so that tooltips are displayed based on the cycle active at the time the violation was generated, rather than the cycle currently selected.
This change ensures that violation details remain accurate and consistent, providing drivers and administrators with correct information regardless of later cycle changes.
Bluetooth connectivity is now more reliable than ever, with automatic reconnection to the Geometris device ensuring fewer interruptions in daily use.
The app now automatically reconnects to the Geometris device if the connection is lost, without requiring any action from the user.
This enhancement provides a seamless pairing experience, reducing interruptions and ensuring more reliable Bluetooth connectivity during daily use.
The app now delivers uninterrupted performance during extended use, with the Location-based update ensuring improved stability and seamless operation even after phone restarts.
The app was crashing when used continuously for more than six hours within a 24-hour period. This happened because Android enforces limits on the Data_Sync foreground service.
We resolved this by changing the service type to Location, which prevents the app from being killed by the system. The update also improves reliability during extended usage and after phone restarts.
With this, users can now experience uninterrupted performance in long usage sessions, with greater stability and a smoother overall experience.
