New Feature

New “Resource” Section

This new section gives drivers quick access to compliance documents and links uploaded by Admins in the portal, ensuring required FMCSA/CCMTA materials are always available on the go, without needing separate support or paper copies.

With this release, we’ve added a Resources section to the Android ELD app. This allows drivers to:

  • Download and view documents uploaded by Admins in the portal (e.g., instruction manuals, malfunction guides, data transfer instructions).
  • Access external links provided by Admins for compliance or training purposes.
  • Always keep mandatory FMCSA/CCMTA documentation in digital format.

Navigation: Side Menu > Resources

Note: Admins continue to upload and manage documents in the web portal

Improvements

Correct Rule Application for Canada North

Daily driving limits no longer apply for Canada North. The app now enforces only shift-based limits, in alignment with Canadian HOS regulations.

Details:

  • Driving Limit: Maximum 15 hours within a shift after 8 consecutive hours off-duty.
  • On-Duty Limit: Maximum 18 hours on-duty in a shift.
  • Shift/Workday Limit: Max 20 consecutive hours in a shift before an 8-hour off-duty break is required.

This ensures drivers operating in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon are now accurately tracked under Canada North regulations.
