How is the Azuga Driver Score calculated?

The Azuga Driver Score is calculated in three steps:

  1. Identify driving events such as braking, speeding, acceleration, and idling. Customers may also enable cornering and seatbelt compliance.
  2. Score each event type, where fewer risky events result in higher scores.
  3. Combine the event scores into a final Driver Score, adjusted by:
    1. Mileage Weightage (MW): Rewards safe long-distance driving (1 = minimal impact, 5 = balanced, 10 = strong impact).
    2. Per-Day Weightage (PDW): Rewards consistency across days (if PDW = 0, only mileage and events are considered).
    3. Event Type Weightage: Determines how much each event type (braking, speeding, acceleration, idling, cornering, and seatbelt) impacts the final score.

Special case: Drivers with no violations can achieve a perfect score of 100, adjusted only by Mileage weightage and Per-day Weightage.
