New score explanations have been added across SafetyIQ dashboards for INSCO accounts to clearly indicate whether insights are powered by Milliman or Azuga scores. This brings transparency and helps resolve confusion caused by comparing the two distinct scoring models.

We’ve introduced clear score explanations across relevant dashboard pages in SafetyIQ for INSCO accounts. Driven by customer feedback, this update helps users easily identify which scoring model, Milliman or Azuga Scores, is powering the insights on each page.

The Milliman scores drives all INSCO accounts (except PHLY) dashboard pages including:

  1. Program dashboard
  2. Fleet Dashboard
  3. Milliman AccuRate dashboard

The Azuga score drives the following Performance and Utilization pages:

  1. Safety Score
  2. Relative Trends

The key reason: Milliman and Azuga use different scoring models.

  • Milliman Score evaluates vehicles and predicts insurance risk.
  • Azuga Safety Score evaluates driver behavior by focusing on risky actions such as speeding and harsh braking. It reflects how safely a driver operates behind the wheel.

In short, the Azuga Driver Safety Score reflects how safely a person drives, while the Milliman Score indicates how risky they are to insure, considering not only driving behavior but also factors like distance driven, time of day, and vehicle type.

Improvements:

The “Milliman AccuRate” dashboard has been moved next to the Fleet dashboard under the “Dashboard” section for better visibility. This update helps insurers and fleet operators quickly assess fleet-level risk and performance.

The “Milliman AccuRate” score dashboard have been relocated from the “Insights” section and are now placed directly next to the Fleet Dashboard under the “Dashboard” section, offering improved visibility and easier access.

Previously located further inside “Insights”, the Milliman Scores were often underutilized. By positioning it prominently alongside the Fleet Dashboard, we’re ensuring it gets the attention it deserves and enabling insurers and fleet operators to quickly assess fleet-level risk and performance.

A new “Trip types” filter has been added under the Insights >> Trip History dashboard to categorize trips as “Regular”, “Weekend”, or “Late Night”. This allows for more focused analysis of driving patterns based on time and usage, helping improve behavioral insights and risk assessment.

We’ve introduced a new “Trip types” filter under the Insights >> Trip History section. This filter helps categorize and analyze trips based on timing and usage patterns. It includes the following options:

  • Regular Trip – Covers standard weekday travel.
  • Weekend Trip – Highlights trips taken on weekends.
  • Late Night Trip – Focuses on trips during late-night hours.

These filters help users gain deeper insights into driving behavior across different trip contexts, enabling more targeted analysis and risk evaluation.

The “Devices” dashboard under the “Performance & Utilization” module now supports two additional Azuga device types: “Asset Trackers” and “OEM devices”, along with the existing OBD devices. The dashboard also supports toggling between “All Azuga fleets” and individual fleets views for flexible analysis.

The “Devices Dashboard” under the “Performance & Utilization” module now supports additional Azuga device types: Asset Trackers and OEM Devices, expanding beyond its previous limitation to only OBD Devices.

Currently supported devices:

  • OBD Devices (existing)
  • Asset Trackers
  • OEM Devices

Coming soon:

  • SafetyCam Devices

The dashboard also allows users to switch between “All Azuga Fleets” and individual fleet views, enabling more flexible and targeted analysis.
