ELD Web - July Updates 2025

Improvements:

  • We've added "Activation Date" and "Last Contact" columns to the Accounts screen to help resellers quickly assess customer engagement and identify inactive accounts.
  • We’ve added new system-generated remark events in the Logs page to help identify when a mobile device is powered off or restarted. These events are now visible in the portal to provide greater insight into phone-level activity.
  • We’ve updated the Help document under the Resources module to clearly outline the minimum hardware and OS requirements for using the Azuga ELD App.

Improvements Deep Dive:

Easily Monitor Account Activity with New Status Columns

To support large accounts managing multiple sub-accounts, we’ve enhanced the Accounts screen with two new columns that give instant insight into account status:

  • Activation Date – Displays the account creation date to help you identify new or legacy customers.
  • Last Contact – Shows the most recent date when any driver activity was recorded on the account (based on logged vehicle data).

These new columns make it easier to identify dormant accounts that can be deactivated, while avoiding accidental removal of recently onboarded customers. If an account has never reported driver activity, the Last Contact field will appear blank.

This update was prioritized to support partners who are actively managing the cleanup of historical inactive accounts. It reduces the need to manually log into each sub-account to assess usage.

Mobile Power On/Off Events Now Logged for Better Visibility

To enhance driver monitoring and aid in diagnosing data interruptions, two new remark events are now captured and displayed on the portal:

  • PhoneShutDownRemark: Created when the mobile device is powered off.
  • PhoneBootCompletedRemark: Created when the device powers back on.

These remarks appear in the driver’s log history, along with the location and timestamp, making it easier for fleet admins to identify gaps in trip data and mobile activity.

This improvement helps support compliance tracking and troubleshooting by clearly showing whether a device was intentionally turned off or restarted during a duty cycle.

System Requirements Added to Resources Module for ELD mobile App

The Resources module now includes updated documentation to help customers ensure their devices meet the minimum system requirements for smooth and compliant ELD mobile app usage.

  • Minimum RAM: 4 GB and above
  • Supported OS Versions:
    • Android: Version 6 and above
    • iOS: Version 12 and above

If a device falls below these standards, users will be prompted via in-app error messages to update their operating system or switch to a supported device.

This update empowers fleets to proactively manage compatibility issues and maintain optimal app performance across their mobile devices.
