OEM Compatibility Overview
What is OEM Compatibility?
A vehicle is said to be OEM Compatible if it is able to share data with the Azuga Fleet platform using OEM-embedded telematics hardware installed by the manufacturer.
When a vehicle is OEM-compatible, it means Azuga can collect data directly from the vehicle without the need for a plug-in GPS device.
Supported OEM Models
The table below shows which makes, model years, and trims are generally compatible with OEM data integration, with exceptions.
Please note that the table below contains rough guidelines
In order to be certain that your vehicle has the required hardware and is supported on the Azuga platform, a VIN check is required.
- For vehicles that are already on the Azuga platform, you can see the OEM compatibility status on the OEM Subscriptions page under Admin Vehicles. They are identified as "OEM Candidates"
- For new vehicles, please provide a list of VINs to an Azuga representative who can check the compatibility before placing an order for OEM Embedded Telematics on your behalf.
