Fleet Insurance - SafetyIQ 12.1.0 Updates
New Feature:
- SafetyIQ is now the single platform for all Azuga insurance reporting needs, fully consolidating and replacing Power BI reporting. Features like daily data refreshes, extended historical data access, and direct partner access now provide users with faster, richer, and more seamless reporting insights.
Improvements:
- The Safety Scores dashboard under the Performance & Utilization module now includes sub-scores for Acceleration, Braking, and Speeding, offering deeper insights into driving behaviors and highlighting specific risk areas.
- Users can now select multiple fleets across all dashboards within the Performance & Utilization module, enabling broader and more flexible data analysis. This feature is currently available exclusively within this module.
- Export capability is now available across all dashboards within the Performance & Utilization module. Users can easily export reports from these dashboards, offering greater flexibility and faster access to operational data.

With this release, SafetyIQ officially becomes the single platform for all Azuga insurance reporting needs. All reporting capabilities and data points previously managed via Power BI have now been successfully integrated into SafetyIQ — streamlining access, improving usability, and delivering a unified reporting experience.
SafetyIQ provides several key advantages over Power BI, delivering faster, richer, and more accessible insights:
- Daily Data Updates: SafetyIQ refreshes data daily, compared to Power BI’s quarterly updates.
- Extensive Historical Data: SafetyIQ provides historical data access, allowing users to view long-term trends and performance history — unlike Power BI’s limited quarterly data availability.
- Direct Partner Access: Azuga partners can now access their business reports directly within SafetyIQ.
| Note: As we continue migrating partners and CSMs to SafetyIQ, Power BI reports will be gradually phased out. The target deprecation is planned for the end of Q3 2025 or early Q4, subject to operational readiness. |

We have introduced component-level sub-scores under the Safety Score tab:
- Acceleration Score
- Braking Score
- Speeding Score

By breaking down the overall Safety Score into measurable categories, insurers can make data-driven decisions to improve fleet safety and performance.
