Is calibration required for ADAS and Driver Monitoring on the new SafetyCam Plus and SafetyCam Pro?

No manual calibration is required. The new SafetyCam supports automatic calibration based on its mounting angle and auto-recalibrates when drivers or conditions change, reducing setup time and user error. 

  • DMS Calibration: 
    • Auto-calibrates within one minute of driving at speeds over 15 MPH. 

    • If the driver changes or the seating position shifts, the SafetyCam automatically recalibrates to maintain accurate AI detection.  


  • ADAS Calibration: 
    • Auto-calibrates within one minute of driving at speeds over 25 MPH.
