Overview
Voyager has over 30 years of experience providing commercial fleet fuel solutions globally, helping fleets gain deeper insights into driver behavior, manage expenses, and reduce fuel fraud. By integrating Voyager’s transaction data into Azuga, fleet managers gain a consolidated view of fuel costs, vehicle locations, and potential misuse alerts—all within the Azuga platform.
Integration Summary and Key Benefits
Automatic Transaction Ingestion
- Voyager fuel purchase data is imported into Azuga on a recurring schedule, eliminating manual data entry.
Location-Based Discrepancy Checks
- Azuga captures vehicle GPS location at the time of fueling to help identify suspicious or unauthorized transactions.
Centralized Fuel Management
- View all fuel spend, timestamp, and vehicle details in a single portal to streamline reporting and cost analysis.
Fraud and Misuse Prevention
- Azuga highlights transactions that appear out of range or exceed normal fueling patterns, so fleet managers can take swift action.
Enhanced Visibility and Reporting
- Compare fueling data against actual mileage and usage patterns to highlight inefficiencies or driver training opportunities.
Integration Setup Process
Below is a step-by-step guide for integrating Voyager with Azuga.
Prerequisites
✅ Voyager Account
- Ensure your Voyager account is active, and you know your account number.
✅ Azuga Account
- A valid Azuga login or assistance from a Customer Success/Support representative.
✅ Signed Data Transfer Agreement
- Voyager requires a signed agreement authorizing them to share transaction data with Azuga.
Integration Setup Steps
1. Reach Out to Azuga L1 Support
- Contact Azuga Support or your Customer Success Manager to request Voyager integration.
- Provide your Voyager account number so they can accurately link your data.
2. Complete and Submit the Data Transfer Agreement
- Fill out Voyager’s data sharing authorization form (the exact DocuSign link may be provided by Azuga L1).
- Send the signed agreement to Voyager’s designated contact/email.
- CC or forward a copy to Azuga Support, ensuring both parties have documentation.
3. Jira Ticket Creation and Assignment
- Azuga L1 team creates a Jira ticket and assigns it to the Integration team.
- The Integration team will begin setting up the automated data feed.
4. Integration Team Configuration and Testing
- Once Voyager confirms receipt of the data transfer agreement, the Azuga Integration team configures the secure transfer of transaction files.
- A sample set of transactions is tested to ensure data mapping aligns with vehicle records, and the timestamp/location details match.
5. Go-Live and Monitoring
- When testing is complete and data is flowing correctly, the Integration team notifies Azuga Support and the customer.
- Azuga Support is available to assist if any discrepancies or integration issues arise post-launch.
Technical Details

- Azuga retrieves these files and automatically ingests transaction data.
Vehicle Identification and Mapping
- Ensure vehicle identifiers (e.g., VIN or other unique markers) match between Voyager’s records and Azuga to avoid missing or misaligned data.
GPS-Based Fraud Prevention
- Azuga records the vehicle’s GPS location at or around the fueling event.
- Transactions deemed out-of-range may be flagged in discrepancy or fraud reports.
