A: Yes, it is possible to transfer a GPS device from an old vehicle to a new one without affecting the subscription plan or incurring additional fees. Follow these steps to complete the transfer:

Steps to Transfer a GPS Device to a New Vehicle 


Step 1: Physically Transfer the Device: 

  • Remove the OBD II device from the old vehicle and plug it into the new vehicle. 

Step 2: Log in to Your Azuga Account: 

  • Access your account to update the vehicle details. 

Step 3: Update Vehicle Details: 

  • Go to the Vehicles page under the Admin module. 
  • Select Edit Vehicle for the old vehicle where the device was installed. 

  • Update all mandatory vehicle details to reflect the new vehicle and click on Submit button.


Note: Updating the details preserves the historical data linked to the device. 


Key Points to Keep in Mind 


Subscription Remains Unaffected: 

  • Transferring the device between vehicles does not impact your billing or subscription. 

Historical Data is Preserved: 

  • The historical data from the old vehicle will carry over and update to include the new vehicle's details, such as its name and VIN.
